  • Assisting with client onboarding

  • Supporting the expansion of the firm’s service offering and client base

Team Leadership & Development

  • Managing and supporting junior staff members

  • Reviewing work to maintain high technical standards

  • Assisting the Directors with training, mentoring, and internal development initiatives

About You

We are looking for a confident and capable professional who brings both technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills. You should be someone who enjoys working closely with clients, thrives in a team environment, and is motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a growing practice.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Ideally 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within a UK-based accountancy practice

  • Qualifications: Preferably ACA or ACCA qualified, or with equivalent qualification or relevant experience

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues

  • Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Xero, Iris, accounts preparation, and multi-tax compliance

  • Leadership Ability: A proven capacity to mentor junior team members and support wider practice development

  • Work Style: Comfortable and motivated in a fully office-based role in Finchley

  • Availability: Immediate availability or a short notice period would be a distinct advantage

What We Offer

We believe in recognising talent and supporting long-term career growth. In return, we offer a rewarding package and the chance to develop your career within a forward-thinking and supportive environment.

Remuneration & Benefits

  • Base Salary: £40,000 per annum

  • Performance Bonus: Linked directly to portfolio growth and success

  • Training: Tailored management training and ongoing professional development support
