The Opportunity

KPMG US Tax Services (London) LLP is seeking an **Associate** or **Senior Associate** to join its **US Tax Services Overseas – Business Tax Services** practice in **London**.

This role is ideal for a tax professional with experience in U.S. partnership, flow-through, or corporate taxation who is looking to expand their career within an international and client-focused environment.


Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will support the delivery of U.S. tax compliance and advisory services to a broad portfolio of Asset Management clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing U.S. tax compliance and advisory services to pass-through entities and partnerships

  • Preparing and reviewing a range of U.S. tax filings, including:

  • Forms 1065

  • Form 1120

  • Form 1120-F

  • Form 8621

  • Form 926

  • Form 8832

  • Schedules K-1

  • Schedules K-2 / K-3

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships

  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver technical insight and industry knowledge on client engagements

  • Advising clients and taking ownership for the delivery of high-quality tax advice and service

  • Contributing to market-facing and business development activities outside of core client work


What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications

  • At least one year of U.S. partnership, flow-through, or corporate tax experience gained in an:

  • accounting firm

  • corporation

  • and/or law firm

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam, or foreign equivalent

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to clearly explain complex tax matters in both advisory and compliance contexts

  • Proficiency in tax software and the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to manage multiple engagements, priorities, and client service teams effectively


Additional Requirements for Senior Associate Level

Candidates applying at Senior Associate level should also demonstrate a broader level of technical and client delivery experience.

You should also have:

  • At least two years of U.S. partnership, flow-through, or U.S. corporate tax experience in an:

  • accounting firm

  • corporation

  • and/or law firm

  • Experience in tax planning and strategy implementation

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritise competing responsibilities
