About the Team

Our Business Tax Advisory team provides tailored tax advice across all areas of taxation to a broad portfolio of large, listed, and international corporate clients. We help organisations manage complex tax legislation while aligning tax strategy with commercial objectives.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an Associate Director to join our Business Tax Advisory team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced tax professional to take on a visible and influential role, working with complex corporate clients while helping to shape the future of the team.

You will play a key part in delivering high-quality advisory services, strengthening client relationships, supporting innovation, and contributing to the ongoing development of both processes and people.


Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Director, your role will include:

  • Building and strengthening relationships with large, listed, and international corporate clients

  • Providing expert advice on complex areas of tax legislation

  • Supporting innovation through the effective use of technology

  • Driving continuous improvement across processes and service delivery

  • Developing and mentoring colleagues, helping to build capability within the team

  • Contributing to business growth by identifying opportunities and supporting the delivery of advisory work


What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong combination of technical expertise, commercial awareness, and relationship-building ability.

Qualifications

  • ACA and/or CTA qualified, or qualified by experience

Experience and Skills

  • Extensive experience managing a portfolio of large corporate, listed, and international groups in a corporate tax advisory capacity

  • Strong and demonstrable technical tax knowledge, particularly in relation to large and complex corporate clients

  • A successful track record of building new client relationships and winning advisory work

  • Experience collaborating on projects with colleagues across other service lines, including:

  • Management Consulting

  • Risk Advisory and Internal Audit

  • M&A and Transactions

  • Technology and Digital Consulting
