Bishop Fleming is seeking an ambitious and experienced Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join its growing tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who is ready to take the next step in their career within a highly respected and forward-thinking firm.
In this role, you will work with a varied portfolio of corporate clients and their owners, delivering both tax compliance and advisory services. Whether you are currently operating at Executive or Senior Associate level and looking to step up, or you are already an Assistant Manager seeking a fresh challenge, this position offers the support, exposure, and progression needed to help you thrive.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the senior management team, you will play an important part in providing corporate tax support across a wide range of client matters. This role offers the chance to build on your technical expertise while also developing your people management and advisory capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review corporate tax computations
Support the delivery of tax compliance services to a broad client base
Assist with advisory projects in specialist areas such as:
Transactions
Patent Box
Research & Development (R&D)
Other corporate tax matters
Work collaboratively with senior leaders to deliver high-quality client service
Coach and develop trainee tax accountants, helping them grow into skilled business advisors
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be a technically capable tax professional with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting both clients and colleagues.
You will ideally have:
A relevant professional qualification such as ACA, CTA, or equivalent
Experience working within a corporate tax environment
The ability to build strong and lasting client relationships
Confidence in managing, mentoring, and developing team members
A proactive mindset and a desire to contribute to the continued success and growth of Bishop Fleming
