The Opportunity
We are looking for a Corporate Tax Associate to join our Hull office, becoming part of a high-performing team that delivers both tax compliance and advisory services to a broad portfolio of clients.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Corporate Tax Associate, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent service to clients while contributing to the success of the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality corporation tax compliance work for a varied portfolio of clients across multiple industries.
Prepare and review:
Corporation tax computations
Tax accounting provisions
Tax filings and payment-related queries
Support advisory work by collaborating with specialist colleagues on a broad range of tax matters, including:
Loss relief
Interest restriction and relief
Transfer pricing
R&D tax relief
Capital allowances
Group reorganisations
Shareholder reorganisations
International tax issues
Acquisitions and disposals
Manage compliance work efficiently while ensuring all client tax affairs meet statutory obligations and internal quality standards.
Build strong client relationships through clear communication and dependable service.
Continue developing your technical and professional skills to support your long-term career progression.
Coach and support junior team members, contributing to a culture of learning and development.
Collaborate with colleagues across tax and other service lines to provide joined-up, high-quality advice to clients.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Part-qualified in an accountancy or tax qualification such as ACA or CTA
Experience gained within an accountancy practice
Good working knowledge of corporate tax
Proven experience of working with clients and collaborating effectively in a team environment
Familiarity with specialist tax software would be an advantage
