Corporate Tax Manager

A Corporate Tax Manager opportunity is available within a growing, dynamic tax team offering strong progression and exposure to a broad portfolio including large corporates, multinational groups, owner-managed businesses and not-for-profit organisations. The role would suit either an experienced Assistant Manager ready to step up or an established Manager seeking a new challenge in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will oversee complex corporate tax compliance work, manage UK and cross-border advisory projects, and partner with senior stakeholders on strategic tax matters. The role also involves building client relationships, identifying opportunities for wider tax and advisory support, and taking responsibility for the financial performance of engagements while maintaining high technical and professional standards. A key part of the position is leadership and team development. The manager will coach and mentor junior colleagues, provide training, share technical expertise, and contribute to wider team improvement initiatives. Collaboration with professionals across tax, audit and corporate finance is also an important part of the role. Applicants should hold a CTA or equivalent qualification and have strong corporate tax and tax accounting experience, particularly with large or complex groups. The role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of UK GAAP and tax accounting principles, attention to detail, commercial awareness, and excellent communication abilities. The position offers hybrid working, with full-time preferred though a four-day week may be considered, and candidates should be based in or near Manchester.
