Corporate Tax Manager/Senior Manager

S&W is hiring a Corporate Tax Manager/Senior Manager to join its Scotland practice on a permanent basis, with the role based in Edinburgh, Stirling, or Kirkcaldy. The position involves managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, working closely with Partners, and leading delivery across both compliance and advisory work. A key aspect of the role is overseeing the corporate tax compliance offering while also building specialist technical or sector expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing compliance cases, undertaking consultancy assignments, and ensuring consistently high levels of client service. They will also be expected to spot opportunities across their client portfolio and contribute to wider business growth. The role combines hands-on technical delivery with strong relationship management across clients and senior internal stakeholders. In addition, the Manager/Senior Manager will play an important people leadership role, including appraisals, monitoring staff performance, and providing on-the-job training to junior team members. The position also includes involvement in local business development, profile-raising, and making use of marketing and PR opportunities to support the firm’s growth. S&W is looking for someone with substantial corporate tax experience gained in practice, strong technical ability, project management experience, and confidence managing both clients and teams. Candidates should hold an ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent qualification.
