The Opportunity

Corporate Tax Manager

As a result of continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and CTA qualified Corporate Tax Manager to join our busy and collaborative Corporate Tax Team.

This role is ideally suited to a tax professional with at least five years’ corporate tax experience within practice, who combines strong technical expertise with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services to a varied client base, while also supporting Partners and colleagues across the wider firm. Alongside this, you will help ensure the efficient running of compliance processes and contribute to the development of more junior team members in both the London office and overseas.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing tax returns, computations, and monthly compliance work prepared by junior members of the team

• Managing the corporate tax compliance cycle to ensure deadlines are met and issues are identified promptly

• Providing clear feedback and support to junior staff to encourage their ongoing technical and professional development

• Building strong working relationships with clients, Partners, and colleagues across the firm

• Delivering tax advice and technical support on a broad range of corporate tax matters

• Handling HMRC enquiries effectively and professionally

• Maintaining compliance with internal practice management procedures

• Keeping technical knowledge up to date through reading, training, and continuing professional development

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this position, you should have:

• CTA qualification

• At least 5 years’ experience working within a Corporate Tax team

• Recent and solid accountancy practice experience

• A proven ability to manage both compliance and advisory work

Working Pattern

This role is based on a Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm schedule.

SRLV offers flexible working arrangements, with a hybrid model of 3 or more days in the office and 2 days working from home.
