Indirect Tax Analyst

This opportunity is for an experienced indirect tax professional to join a global business on a 2-year contract based near Worthing, West Sussex. The role combines day-to-day responsibility for indirect tax compliance across the EU region with project work to help establish an internal indirect tax function. It is suited to someone who can manage business-as-usual compliance while also contributing to the design and build of processes, controls, and capability within a new in-house tax setup. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with 2–3 days per week in the office, and is aimed at candidates who are available to start as soon as possible. The business is looking for someone with strong indirect tax experience who can operate confidently in an international environment and support compliance obligations across multiple jurisdictions. In addition to the core compliance work, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future indirect tax team. This is likely to include helping define responsibilities, supporting transition from outsourced or fragmented arrangements, and improving internal ownership of indirect tax matters.
