The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to build your experience across a broad range of international tax projects designed to support clients in developing and executing effective global tax strategies.
You will help clients navigate international growth, transformation and regulatory change while contributing practical, commercially focused advice that supports their business objectives.
Typical project areas include:
Expansion into new markets
Pre-transaction reorganisations
Post-transaction integration
Legal structure rationalisation
Operating model redesign
Capital structure and financing optimisation
Intellectual property ownership and relief planning
Managing risks arising from global tax law changes, including BEPS
Supporting lobbying and negotiations with tax authorities in the UK and internationally
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Manager, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality client service, leading engagements and helping to strengthen long-term client relationships.
In this role, you will:
Lead and manage the successful delivery of international tax engagements
Take a professional, practical and commercial approach to advisory work
Ensure technical excellence across all aspects of delivery
Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service
Identify opportunities to enhance EY’s offering and involve the right colleagues where appropriate
Support the team in growing existing client relationships and contributing to new business development
Assist in winning new work through proactive client management and high-quality delivery

To Qualify for This Role
To be considered, you should bring a solid grounding in corporate tax along with advisory experience and a genuine interest in further developing your international tax expertise.
You will ideally have:
A background in corporate tax with demonstrable advisory experience
One of the following qualifications:
ATT
ACA
CA
CTA
or equivalent breadth of technical knowledge
Strong technical tax capability and a desire to continue developing this further
Experience of working on international tax projects
Strong project management skills, including planning, prioritisation, deadline management and budget awareness
