R&D Tax Senior Manager

S&W is hiring an R&D Tax Senior Manager in London to help drive the growth of its R&D tax service line within a fast-growing UK top 10 accountancy firm. The role centres on managing a portfolio of client engagements, overseeing the delivery of R&D tax credit claims, and ensuring a high standard of service across a varied client base. The successful candidate will also support Directors and Partners on client work and team management. A key part of the role is building strong client and internal relationships to identify and develop new business opportunities. The position involves leading client meetings, reviewing operations and financial data to identify qualifying R&D activity and expenditure, and collaborating with other teams to ensure claims are well supported and accurately documented. It also includes staying current with legislation and HMRC guidance. Internally, the Senior Manager will help shape operational processes and take a leadership role in mentoring, coaching, and developing team members.
