The Opportunity

As Real Estate Director, you will play a leading role in delivering sophisticated UK and international real estate tax advice. You will work closely with major investors, funds, and developers, helping them navigate complex transactions and implement tax-efficient strategies aligned to their commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Advise on complex tax matters across UK and international real estate transactions, providing practical and commercially focused solutions

• Lead tax advisory assignments relating to acquisitions, disposals, refinancings, developments, and restructurings across multiple jurisdictions

• Direct tax due diligence processes, identifying key risks and recommending transaction structures that support investment goals

• Design and implement tax-efficient structures for holding, financing, and fund arrangements, including joint ventures and co-investment models

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a senior trusted advisor and key point of contact

• Mentor and develop team members, supporting the technical and professional growth of junior and mid-level colleagues

• Manage multiple engagements and budgets, ensuring work is delivered efficiently, on time, and profitably

• Contribute to business development, including proposals, presentations, and identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships

• Support clients with ongoing compliance and reporting obligations, proactively addressing issues and helping manage investor tax requirements
