Blick Rothenberg is seeking an accomplished Senior Compliance Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening the firm’s compliance strategy. This position is central to ensuring the business operates in line with all relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practice.
Working closely with the Head of Compliance and senior leadership, the successful candidate will provide strategic oversight, enhance compliance frameworks, and help embed a strong culture of integrity, accountability, and regulatory awareness across the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior compliance professional to influence business-wide governance, support risk management priorities, and act as a trusted adviser to key stakeholders. The role requires a confident leader who can balance strategic direction with hands-on oversight in a dynamic and regulated environment.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Regulatory Compliance & Governance
Monitor and interpret applicable laws, regulations, and guidance impacting the organisation.
Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
Advise senior leaders on regulatory developments, associated risks, and operational implications.
Ensure timely fulfilment of all regulatory reporting and filing requirements.
Risk Management
Lead compliance risk assessments and maintain the organisation’s compliance risk register.
Design and oversee effective mitigation plans and internal control measures.
Conduct compliance reviews and thematic audits where required to assess effectiveness and identify improvements.
Compliance Monitoring & Assurance
Establish and manage an annual compliance monitoring programme.
Track, investigate, and report compliance breaches, incidents, and remediation activity.
Prepare high-quality reports for executive committees, boards, and senior decision-makers.
Training & Culture
Deliver engaging training and awareness initiatives to promote compliance understanding across the business.
Champion a culture of ethics, integrity, and accountability.
Act as a trusted adviser to business units and senior stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
Mentor and support members of the compliance team.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams including Legal, Risk, HR, Audit, and Operations.
Serve as a key contact for regulators, auditors, and external partners where required.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
Extensive experience in compliance, regulatory, or risk-focused roles.
Strong knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks, with a particular emphasis on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and compliance.
Demonstrated success in managing complex compliance programmes and delivering meaningful outcomes.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to a wide range of audiences.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Experience leading teams or delivering cross-functional initiatives.
Desirable
Professional compliance qualifications, such as ICA.
Industry-specific experience.
Project management and/or change management experience.
The ability to influence effectively at all levels of an organisation.
