Join BDO’s Tax Assurance & Risk Management (TA&RM) team — one of the fastest-growing specialist teams of its kind. With three dedicated tax partners and a team of more than 20 professionals, TA&RM supports over 300 clients, ranging from fast-growing entrepreneurial businesses to FTSE 20 organisations.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Work on a wide range of tax assurance, governance, and risk management projects

• Support clients in improving their tax control environments and governance frameworks

• Contribute to the team’s ongoing innovation and development

• Help influence the future direction of the practice

• Build trusted, long-term relationships with a varied client base

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who combines technical credibility with strong interpersonal and project management skills. You will ideally bring:

• CTA and/or ACA qualification, or equivalent

• Experience in tax risk and governance, tax assurance, or a strong interest in building expertise in this area

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly to different audiences

• Strong project management capabilities

• Experience supporting or managing junior team members

• A proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

• A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to new tools, training, and thought leadership
