The Role

As a Transfer Pricing Manager, you will play a central role in delivering technical advice, managing client relationships, leading projects, and supporting the development of junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical transfer pricing advice to National Markets clients across a wide range of matters

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders

  • Managing multi-jurisdictional projects and overseeing day-to-day delivery

  • Collaborating with KPMG’s specialists across:

  • Transfer Pricing

  • International Tax

  • Indirect Tax

  • Advisory teams

  • Taking ownership of financial management, including:

  • Budget development

  • Project cost management

  • Billing and profitability oversight

  • Coaching and developing junior team members through:

  • Regular on-the-job support

  • Structured guidance

  • Training delivery

  • Ensuring timely and accurate reporting to senior leadership

  • Contributing to business development initiatives, marketing activity, and identifying new opportunities in the market


What You’ll Bring

We are looking for a confident and commercially minded transfer pricing professional with strong technical capability, excellent people skills, and the ability to lead both client work and team development.

Qualifications and experience

You should have one or more of the following:

  • CTA, CA, ACA, or ACCA qualification, or

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:

  • Economics

  • Finance

  • Law

  • Accounting

  • Or a related discipline

Technical and professional experience

  • Significant experience in transfer pricing

  • Strong background in areas such as:

  • Preparing transfer pricing documentation

  • Conducting tax value chain analyses

  • Performing benchmarking studies

  • Supporting tax authority enquiries

  • Working on Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs)

  • Project management

  • Supervising and supporting junior team members

Skills and attributes

  • Sound judgement and the ability to identify and assess risk

  • Strong analytical thinking with a commercial, solution-focused mindset

  • High levels of motivation, drive, and enthusiasm

  • Excellent commercial awareness

  • Commitment to continuous technical learning and developing others

  • Ability to work independently and use initiative effectively

  • Awareness of ethical and risk considerations within a client service environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients and colleagues

  • Excellent organisation, communication, and project management skills
