What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will contribute to a wide range of indirect tax matters while helping clients manage both strategic and operational tax issues.

• Providing expert advice on a broad spectrum of UK VAT and Indirect Tax matters

• Supporting clients on both business and transaction tax issues

• Managing direct interactions with HMRC on behalf of clients

• Building and strengthening client relationships through proactive account management

• Identifying and securing new business opportunities

• Collaborating with colleagues across BDO to deliver joined-up, wider business solutions

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a professional with strong technical expertise, commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset.

You’ll bring:

• Significant experience and strong technical knowledge of UK VAT

• A proven ability to advise on a wide range of Indirect Tax matters

• Experience handling direct correspondence and matters with HMRC

• A track record of winning work, developing existing client relationships and attracting new clients

• A professional qualification, such as ACA, CTA, ACCA, or equivalent
