We are looking for an accomplished Corporate Tax Partner to lead our London Corporate Tax team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our tax practice. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially minded tax professional who combines technical excellence with strong client relationship skills and a passion for developing people.
Location & Working Hours
Location: London
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Weekly hours: 37.5 hours
This role is based within our London office, with the flexibility of hybrid working as part of our modern and agile approach to work.

The Opportunity
As Corporate Tax Partner, you will take ownership of the London-based Corporate Tax team, providing leadership, strategic direction, and technical guidance across a sophisticated and varied client portfolio.
You will work closely with fellow Partners and stakeholders across the firm to deliver outstanding client service, identify growth opportunities, and drive innovation within the tax practice. This role is ideal for a senior tax leader who enjoys combining high-level advisory work with business development, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Direction
Provide clear strategic leadership to the Corporate Tax team
Set the tone for technical excellence, quality, and client service
Build, mentor, and develop senior tax professionals
Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture
Client Advisory & Technical Expertise
Oversee the delivery of complex corporate tax compliance and advisory services
Manage a diverse and sophisticated client portfolio
Advise on intricate tax matters, including:
Corporate restructuring
Mergers & acquisitions
International tax matters
Ensure the team remains at the forefront of tax legislation and HMRC developments
Business Development & Growth
Identify and pursue new business opportunities
Develop long-term client relationships built on trust and credibility
Lead client pitches, proposals, and conversion activity
Support the firm’s wider growth agenda through proactive market engagement and commercial insight
Collaboration & Market Presence
Work closely with Partners and teams across service lines to deliver integrated client solutions
Partner with colleagues across Audit, Advisory, and other specialist areas
Represent the firm at:

Professional networking opportunities
Thought leadership forums
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a highly experienced tax professional with a proven track record of delivering strategic corporate tax advice and leading high-performing teams in a client-focused environment.
Essential Experience & Expertise
Demonstrable success advising on complex corporate tax matters
Strong technical knowledge across:
International tax
Transfer pricing
M&A structuring
Extensive experience managing relationships with large corporates and multinational organisations
Proven ability to lead major client pitches and proposal processes
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify, develop, and win new business
Leadership & Relationship Skills
Evidence of mentoring and developing team members into high-performing professionals
Ability to build lasting client relationships across a broad range of sectors
Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively across service lines
Confidence operating within global teams and international client environments
Ability to navigate cultural differences with professionalism and insight
Professional Qualifications
Membership of a relevant professional body, such as:
ICAEW
CIOT
Desirable Strengths
- Experience using tax technology platforms and data analytics tools to improve service delivery and efficiency
