Tax Technology Analyst

The Opportunity

Working closely with the Tax Technology team and Tax service line subject matter experts, you will help uncover opportunities to improve business processes through enhanced technology, automation, and AI-driven solutions.

You will support the evaluation of technology initiatives, contribute to the development of future-state processes, and help ensure that solutions are aligned to business needs and deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify automation opportunities by collaborating with Tax Technology specialists and Tax SMEs to review existing processes and highlight areas for improvement through technology.
• Support business case assessment for a range of technology solutions, working alongside the Tax Technology leadership team and Tax service lines.
• Assist with AI and automation adoption, helping the business embed new solutions introduced through project activity.
• Contribute to change initiatives by supporting process improvements and organisational changes needed to realise the benefits of increased automation.
• Define target processes and user stories in partnership with the team, helping shape the future operating model and requirements for delivery.
• Enable effective communication between business stakeholders and the wider Tax Technology team throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Participate in functional and user testing, ensuring business requirements are clearly reflected in test scenarios and validating that delivered solutions meet operational needs.

Reporting Line

This role reports to the Tax Technology Manager and will involve close collaboration with colleagues across the Tax Technology function, leadership team, and wider tax service lines.
