About the Role

Transaction Tax Manager / Senior Professional

Kroll is seeking an accomplished Transaction Tax professional to join its growing Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced advisor with strong UK and international tax due diligence and deal structuring expertise to take on a highly visible, client-facing role within a leading global advisory firm.

As part of Kroll’s wider TAS team, you will work alongside specialists delivering financial and tax due diligence, transaction structuring advice, and a range of related deal services. The role offers the chance to lead complex projects, manage a portfolio of transactional clients, and contribute to both team growth and business development in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for a technically strong and commercially minded tax professional who thrives in a deal environment. You will be expected to lead UK tax due diligence and structuring assignments while also coordinating international projects involving overseas tax advisors.

You will play a central role in delivering seamless support to clients throughout the transaction lifecycle, combining technical excellence with strong project management and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing international tax due diligence and structuring assignments, including coordinating with overseas advisors where required

  • Applying strong UK tax technical expertise to support transaction execution and provide commercially focused solutions

  • Collaborating closely with the wider Financial Due Diligence (FDD) and Transaction Advisory teams to ensure an integrated client experience

  • Overseeing the financial and administrative aspects of the transactions under your management

  • Serving as a key point of contact for clients, targets, and internal stakeholders seeking support across service lines

  • Developing and strengthening client relationships proactively to identify opportunities for additional work

  • Supporting business development efforts that generate workflow for both the tax team and the wider firm

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will bring a combination of technical depth, transactional experience, and the confidence to operate in a client-led environment.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree educated with at least a 2:1 or equivalent

  • Professionally qualified as one of the following:

  • ACA

  • CTA

  • Big 4 and/or Magic Circle training is advantageous

  • A minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in UK tax

  • At least 3 years of that experience in a transactional tax role or team

  • Strong expertise in UK tax technical matters relevant to due diligence and structuring

  • Significant experience in managing both UK and international tax deal projects

Skills & Personal Attributes

  • A strong work ethic and the ability to deliver quality work with minimal supervision

  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to explain complex tax issues clearly to non-tax specialists

  • A commercial, proactive, and solution-oriented “can do” mindset
