Corporate and International Tax Director

Azets is seeking a Corporate Tax Director to provide strategic leadership on tax matters, with responsibility for managing and delivering advisory projects while ensuring clients remain compliant with UK tax regulations. Based in Bicester, the role combines high-level technical tax expertise with commercial leadership, requiring the successful candidate to support client growth, deliver tax planning advice, and meet revenue and profitability targets. A major focus of the role is client relationship management. The Director is expected to lead and strengthen relationships with key clients, identify service improvements, anticipate future client needs, and work across service lines to deliver joined-up support. The position also carries significant business development responsibilities, including growing an external network, winning new work, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and contributing to fee growth across the wider firm. From a technical perspective, the role requires acting as an engagement lead on most corporate tax advisory assignments for the Bicester office, including complex work with limited partner support. The client base has a particular emphasis on software and technology businesses, so experience or understanding of that sector would be beneficial.
