KPMG is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join its growing Corporate Tax Compliance team within Global Compliance & Transformation (GCT). This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of multinational groups and financial services clients, helping them manage their global tax compliance, reporting, and statutory accounting obligations through outsourcing, co-sourcing, transformation, and technology-led solutions.

The Opportunity

KPMG’s Corporate Tax Compliance practice is made up of a highly skilled team of specialists delivering a first-class service to a broad and complex client base. Supported by innovative technology and integrated advisory teams, the practice works with both large domestic and global compliance clients across a wide range of sectors.

As the team continues to grow, KPMG is looking for a technically strong and commercially aware Senior Manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional client service.


What You Will Be Doing

In this role, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients while playing a leading role in delivering high-quality corporate tax compliance services and supporting the wider development of the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a portfolio of corporate tax compliance clients

  • Ensuring tax computations are prepared accurately, to a high standard, and submitted to HMRC within agreed deadlines

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key client stakeholders

  • Keeping clients informed on relevant developments in corporate tax, including legislative changes and business implications

  • Reviewing team output and providing coaching, technical oversight, and guidance

  • Identifying and resolving complex tax technical issues and opportunities

  • Collaborating with KPMG specialists to provide coordinated and high-quality technical advice

  • Responding to ad hoc client queries with clear, practical, and commercially relevant insights

  • Supporting group reporting requirements where applicable

  • Leading and developing team members through coaching, performance management, and technical mentoring

  • Managing aspects of team operations and performance

  • Following KPMG best practice and internal policy

  • Enhancing KPMG’s reputation through quality delivery, technical excellence, and strong client service

Knowledge and experience:

  • Extensive experience in Corporate Tax compliance and legislation

  • Strong technical knowledge with a commitment to ongoing professional development

  • Understanding of tax accounting, including:

  • FRS 101

  • FRS 102

  • IFRS

  • Ability to interpret complex fact patterns and discuss technical matters confidently with both clients and colleagues

  • Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a dynamic environment
