About the Role

As part of the global mobility tax team, you will help organizations and their internationally mobile employees navigate the tax implications of working across multiple jurisdictions. This role is central to ensuring tax compliance, improving tax processes, and reducing risk for both employees and employers.

You will advise on assignment-related tax matters, support payroll and reporting accuracy, and help deliver practical, compliant, and tax-efficient solutions. This position offers a strong mix of technical tax work, client interaction, and cross-functional collaboration.

Your overall focus will be to minimize tax risk and cost while ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation and mobility policies.


Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute across a broad range of global mobility tax activities, including advisory, compliance, reporting, and client relationship management.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising internal and external stakeholders on:

  • tax planning strategies

  • withholding requirements

  • social security obligations

  • Collaborating with Finance and HR teams to:

  • support accurate payroll tax calculations

  • ensure timely reporting

  • maintain tax compliance across assignments

  • Providing guidance on:

  • assignment structuring

  • tax treaty application

  • tax-efficient compensation and benefits approaches

  • Supporting employees by explaining:

  • tax obligations linked to international assignments

  • tax equalization and tax protection policies

  • the practical impact of cross-border mobility on their personal tax position

  • Reviewing and analyzing payroll and compensation data to:

  • calculate tax liabilities

  • identify risks

  • uncover optimization opportunities

  • Preparing, reviewing, and filing:

  • tax returns

  • compliance documentation

  • assignment-related tax deliverables for globally mobile employees

  • Producing supporting applications and documentation to:

  • strengthen employee tax positions

  • maintain compliance with local and international requirements

  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation to support:

  • audit readiness

  • quality control

  • compliance integrity

  • Monitoring international tax developments and assessing how legislative changes may affect:

  • client programs

  • employee assignments

  • compliance strategies

  • Preparing reports and presentations for:

  • management

  • auditors

  • tax authorities

  • client stakeholders

  • Conducting country-specific tax research and partnering with subject matter experts to deliver joined-up, practical solutions

  • Acting as a key client contact, ensuring:

  • proactive communication

  • regular progress updates

  • high-quality service delivery

  • Managing engagement financials, including:

  • billing

  • collections

  • KPI monitoring

  • Supporting broader Global Mobility Tax strategies to reduce tax exposure and improve compliance outcomes for clients and employees

  • Identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts and contributing to business development and portfolio expansion

  • Building strong client relationships while staying informed on market trends and emerging opportunities


What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a professional who combines technical capability with strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset.

Preferred experience and skills:

  • Experience in social security compliance, global mobility, or international taxation

  • Strong client-facing and communication skills

  • Excellent analytical ability and close attention to detail

  • Confidence managing multiple projects, deadlines, and jurisdictions simultaneously

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Experience using reporting tools and dashboards

  • Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders

  • A collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
