You will play a central role in delivering commercially focused solutions that help clients navigate complexity, respond to regulatory change, and achieve their wider business objectives.

This is a career-defining role for someone who thrives on challenge, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to help shape the future of tax advisory services for global businesses.

What You’ll Be Working On

You will support a diverse portfolio of clients, including UK-listed and multinational businesses, across a wide range of high-value and technically demanding projects.

Core areas of work include:

  • Corporate tax advisory

  • Multi-jurisdictional international tax structuring

  • Business reorganisations

  • International expansion projects

  • Operating model redesign

  • Tax controversy and enquiry support

  • Advising on global tax policy developments, including BEPS 2.0

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing International and Complex UK tax advisory services as a key member of the team, helping clients achieve their commercial goals.

  • Managing the delivery of high-quality technical advice across matters such as:

  • tax structuring

  • refinancing

  • business and legal structure optimisation

  • pre- and post-transaction reorganisations

  • tax authority enquiries

  • technical support for the wider corporate tax team

  • Collaborating with specialists across other departments and KPMG overseas offices to coordinate input into complex advisory engagements.

  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing junior team members to support their growth and performance.

  • Supporting team operations and performance management, including resource planning and allocation.

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, developing a deep understanding of their businesses and identifying opportunities to add value.

  • Leading proposals for new work, including:

  • drafting tender documents

  • presenting at client pitches

  • developing effective solutions to client challenges

  • Driving business development activity alongside Directors and Partners, actively pursuing opportunities and contributing to growth targets.

  • Demonstrating KPMG’s values through your actions, leadership style, and client service approach.

Who This Role Would Suit

This opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about international tax and excited by the prospect of advising large, complex businesses in an evolving global landscape.

You may already be operating at Senior Manager level and looking for a platform to accelerate your career. Equally, you may be a high-performing Manager ready to take the next step into a broader, more strategic position.

While prior experience working with multinational organisations would be beneficial, KPMG is especially interested in individuals who bring strong technical capability, curiosity, ambition, and the drive to succeed.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

You should ideally have:

  • ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification

  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax and accounting principles

  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members

  • Confidence in managing stakeholders and working across multiple teams

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
