The Opportunity

In this role, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, supporting them with their corporation tax obligations while also advising on broader corporate tax matters. You will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships, supporting junior team members, and helping clients navigate complex tax issues with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of clients and delivering corporation tax compliance and advisory services

• Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns

• Supporting and mentoring junior team members through review, feedback, and coaching

• Developing and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships

• Assisting clients with R&D tax relief claims and wider corporate tax matters

• Communicating directly with clients, HMRC, and internal teams

• Identifying opportunities to provide additional value to clients and contribute to business development initiatives

• Helping manage workflow effectively to ensure deadlines and service standards are consistently met

• Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and sharing relevant updates with both clients and colleagues

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a candidate with strong corporate tax experience and a proactive, client-focused approach. You will be confident managing multiple priorities while maintaining excellent technical and service standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in corporate tax

• Ideally, exposure to R&D tax relief claims

• Strong technical knowledge of corporation tax matters

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage competing deadlines and a varied workload

• A strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service

Qualifications

• ATT / ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified, or

• Part-qualified with relevant experience
