We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Executive

  • Indirect Taxation (GST) to support our GST compliance and taxation processes in Bangalore. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in indirect taxation, hands-on GST filing experience, and a proactive approach to managing reconciliations, notices, and stakeholder coordination.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Executive

  • Indirect Taxation (GST), you will play a key role in ensuring the organization’s GST compliance framework operates efficiently and accurately. You will be responsible for preparing returns, managing reconciliations, supporting notice responses, and coordinating with internal stakeholders as well as external auditors and consultants.

This role suits a professional who thrives in a structured finance environment, has a strong command of GST regulations, and can confidently manage taxation processes with precision and accountability.


What You Will Be Responsible For

In this role, you will take ownership of a range of GST-related responsibilities, including:

  • Preparing and filing GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B workings accurately and within deadlines

  • Performing reconciliations between purchase records and GSTR-2B

  • Compiling and organizing data required for GST notice responses

  • Coordinating with internal teams to complete sales and purchase reconciliations

  • Ensuring timely compliance for GST return filings and notice submissions

  • Providing GST-related guidance and clarifications to business stakeholders

  • Working closely with auditors and consultants to support documentation and statutory compliance

  • Posting GST-related accounting entries into the system accurately

  • Maintaining complete and organized records, including invoices, bills, annexures, and tax returns


What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a finance professional with strong indirect taxation expertise and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Education

  • MBA in Finance, CA Inter, or

  • Post-Graduation in Finance or a related field

Experience

  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in finance and accounts

  • Strong and practical exposure to GST compliance and filings

Technical Skills

  • Sound understanding of GST laws, rules, and compliance requirements

  • Hands-on experience with:

  • GSTR-1

  • GSTR-3B

  • GSTR-9

  • Working knowledge of indirect tax regulations and SEZ provisions

  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant accounting software
