The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and client-focused Tax Senior to manage the tax compliance and advisory requirements of a varied portfolio, including individuals, owner-managed businesses, family companies, and corporate clients.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical tax knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver an exceptional level of service while supporting junior colleagues and contributing to the continued growth of the tax team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Client Service & Portfolio Management
Manage a diverse portfolio of tax clients, ensuring service levels consistently meet and exceed expectations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive, professional, and commercially aware support.
Represent Xeinadin in day-to-day client interactions with a strong focus on professionalism, innovation, and future-focused service delivery.
Respond promptly and effectively to client queries and requirements.
Tax Compliance & Advisory
Prepare and submit tax returns in line with Xeinadin’s standard procedures.
Deliver tax compliance services and advice across a mixed client portfolio.
Manage statutory deadlines and other tax compliance obligations efficiently and accurately.
Undertake tax planning and advisory work, including ad hoc client matters.
Research tax issues and assist with drafting tax advice where required.
Work across key tax areas, including:
Income Tax
Corporation Tax
Capital Gains Tax
Bring added value through experience in other taxes such as:
Inheritance Tax
VAT
Review, Quality & Delivery
Review tax returns prepared by other members of the tax team.
Ensure work is completed within agreed timeframes and budget parameters.
Maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance, and technical quality.
Keep up to date with current UK tax legislation and technical developments.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Act as a line manager for junior team members.
Support and mentor less experienced colleagues in their development.
Foster strong internal relationships across the tax team and wider office.
Contribute positively to the culture, growth, and success of the firm’s tax practice.
Professional Standards
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and statutory requirements for yourself and the team.

Represent the firm internally and externally with professionalism in appearance, conduct, and attitude.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong experience working across a broad range of UK taxes.
Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients effectively.
Up-to-date technical tax knowledge.
Experience using tax software and Microsoft Office confidently.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Commercial awareness and a clear understanding of client needs and expectations.
Effective communication skills, both:
Verbal and written
In-person and via Teams meetings
Preferred Qualification
- ATT or CTA qualified preferred.
