This role goes beyond technical delivery. You will also support the development of junior colleagues, contribute to strategic growth initiatives, and be involved in strengthening Bishop Fleming’s presence in the marketplace.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership to provide expert advice across a variety of employment tax matters.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing employment tax advisory projects across a broad client portfolio

Supporting clients with international employment matters, where relevant
Providing guidance on National Minimum Wage issues and related compliance matters
Handling Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) enquiries, where required
Advising on acquisitions and business sales, including reviewing and signing off employment tax due diligence reports
Coaching and developing trainees and junior team members, helping them grow into confident tax professionals
Contributing to business development activity, both locally and across the wider firm
Participating in business strategy discussions and supporting the continued evolution of Bishop Fleming’s employment tax services
What We’re Looking For

To be considered, you should have:
Relevant professional qualifications and experience within an employment tax environment
Strong technical employment tax knowledge
Experience advising on international employments, which is desirable but not essential
CIS experience, which is helpful but not required
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships
A coaching mindset, with enthusiasm for developing and mentoring others
A proactive and collaborative approach to contributing to team success and firm growth
