Our Finance team is at the centre of strategic decision-making—guiding investment, strengthening financial frameworks, and supporting long-term business value. Within this environment, the Employment Tax Senior Analyst will partner closely with teams across HR, Payroll, and Legal to support Deliveroo, DoorDash, and Wolt in meeting employment tax obligations worldwide.
About the Role
This opportunity sits within the Global Employment Tax team, a group focused on managing tax risk, building scalable processes, and ensuring compliance frameworks remain effective as the business grows and evolves.
You’ll work across multiple jurisdictions, contributing both technical expertise and process improvement ideas to strengthen employment tax operations on a global scale.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Global Compliance & Reporting
Support ongoing employment tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions
Assist with reporting related to:
taxable expenses
employee benefits
share plans
third-party services returns
Help ensure compliance requirements are met accurately and on time
Global Mobility
Support the tax compliance needs of an internationally mobile workforce
Assist with income tax and social security matters linked to cross-border employees
Help maintain a smooth and compliant approach to global mobility activity
Process Improvement & Innovation
Identify opportunities to streamline and harmonise tax processes globally
Contribute to automation initiatives and technology-driven improvements
Support efforts to increase efficiency, consistency, and scalability
Tax Advisory & Research
Research employment tax issues by reviewing legislation and HMRC guidance
Translate technical developments into practical recommendations for the business
Provide insight on the tax implications of new initiatives and evolving business activity
Data, Controls & Governance
Carry out detailed data analysis to support reporting and decision-making
Help maintain a strong Tax Controls framework
Ensure process documentation remains accurate, current, and well-governed
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with strong employment tax knowledge, sound judgement, and the curiosity to continue developing in a dynamic global environment.
Your experience may include:
Significant experience in employment tax and global mobility
A professional tax qualification, ideally supporting your technical background
Strong ability to interpret tax legislation and HMRC guidance
Experience researching complex tax issues and applying findings in a commercial context
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Confidence communicating complex tax matters clearly to a range of stakeholders
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with autonomy, ownership, and change
